So, with Grammy visiting and during a short and oh, so beautiful time of year, when the Hood River Valley orchards are all in bloom, we decided to just go driving and do a repeat of the last time Grammy visited, which was actually by mistake. Except, this time, the mistake would be on purpose:) It was SO beautiful and we were enjoying our drive when we stopped into the Gorge White House. It has been closed every time I have attempted to check it out. Well, literally RIGHT before I turned in, I was telling Grammy that if the weather would have been better, I REALLY had wanted to drive to the Woodburn Tulip Fest. Well, we pull in and the White House has their own little U-pick flower fields! Thankfully it had been dry, so the field was not muddy as we were not planning on tromping through a field. Lacy LOVED it, Grammy and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and we can't wait to go back when Grammy and Aunt Charissa come to meet baby #2. The flowers were only 5 for $1! Grammy bought us $6 worth and our house was FILLED with flowers! Lacy was running all over, just one squeaky 2 year old completely over the moon! After we picked our flowers, we went into the beautiful old house and looked around and bought their house wine. I, of course, did not try it:( It was such a fun drive with a great surprise at the end! (don't forget you can click on any photo to enlarge)

What beautiful pictures! Looks like Lacy had a great time, too cute!
No wonder 'Grammy' came home all grins....hitting the bottle at the flower farm would certainly put a smile on her face. (Grampa T)
