Well, even with all the activity and as it often happens, everything slowed down and NO baby yet! So, while we wait, we are just cherishing the end times of a family of three. We are enjoying my first baby all to ourselves:) Today(after Eddy went to hardware store to locate missing parts) we set up Lacy's pool and gave it a test run. The water was a little cool as it was not heating as long as we'd hoped, then the shade came AND the gorge wind...so it was a little chilly. Lacy was typical Lacy, being very cautious at first. She was enjoying it, but did not want to sit down...until she had no choice when she slipped and feel splat on her rump! The next photo is her reaction...just comical! Once down, she realized it was actually fun to sit, slide around, and splash away:) And, finally at the end she was up for trying the slide if mommy helped her. She loved it and eventually was doing it herself. We did have to scoop her up crying when it was time to come in, despite that she was turning blue and shivering!! Thanks for the adorable swimming suit Grammy!

Action shots going down the slide:)

So cute -we were just talking yesterday about getting Simon a pool. We were thinking inflatable might be easier to store - to you have any opinions or recommendations on kiddy pools?
so I just checked over at amazon to see what they have - there is no way I would spend this much money on this but how cool does this look

Em-Here is my experience. So yeah, the inflatable ones are SO much easier and smaller to store, but much more effort into setting up. We had an inflatable last year and it was more effort to get all set up than I wanted for a little one. We did have fun, but then I forgot after I let it dry to pack it up and it got ruined when the weather changed later that week. Just make sure you have a good pump that plugs into a close outlet where you want your inflatable pool to be:) I could not locate ours the first time and was so annoyed! AND it was a pump used from a car! Had to blow up the massive pool and ask a neighbor to help me carry it to the backyard!:) The plastic ones are a pain to store and here with our wind, I literally am surprised it has not blown over our fence! BUT...fast set and take down. I opted for easy set-up this summer with adding a newborn into the mix. I can get the job done quick and there is a slide for added fun:) You all will love a pool this summer!
