Scenes from The Nutcracker!

 For the second year, Lacy and I attended the Columbia Gorge Dance Academy's, Scenes from The Nutcracker. Last year as a tiny 2 year old, Lacy enjoyed the show and SILENTLY sat through the entire 2 acts. This year...she LOVED it! I mean, really LOVED it. She also got to see teacher Nancy on stage with the 4 year olds and watch what she will get to do next year! The production also welcomed an actual professional ballet husband and wife duo that did an act in the show. It was AWESOME. Lacy (and me for that matter) was in awe of all the lift and leaps the couple did. Not to mention, their costumes too!

And to top it off, Lacy was thrilled to walk outside after the show to find it was snowing! If you look closely you will see the white flecks in the photos. And, the auditorium was just too dark and especially to crowded and crazy for indoor photos.

I will cherish the memory of Lacy on my lap, turning and smiling and pointing in awe and especially, Lacy appalled at two girls who were...gasp..TALKING during the performance and were NOT being quiet like they were supposed too:) That's my girl!
