I would like you to meet Ashley's little buddy! This little charmer has a big sister in Lacy's ballet class and 'E' and Ashley get some baby time while the siblings dance. I have struggled scheduling 'appointments' with friends and I thought why not use my time while at ballet?! His mom was up for it, and man did I hit the jackpot or what?! He is such a cutie! We just stepped outside and I danced around like a crazy lady, as this little guy doesn't stay still for long! I also made very loud animal sounds that other people all heard while walking into the studio. Told you I was a crazy lady! Turns out, I really like the dance studio for photos. It has a large covered patio for shade, brick wall, simple landscaping and neutral colors. Only bummer, I suffered from baby brain and forgot my ISO was set quite high and the photos are grainy. Darn. Oh well, that's what practicing is for, right?
Yes, this gave me the bug. I have been ready to start snapping away on others and now I REALLY want to! I have gotten some offers for more practice and I can't wait! Now that we have warmer and drier weather starting, more opportunities will begin. So, let me know if you want your kiddos to join the list!

Kelly, that is SO GREAT!!! I know you're excited. Be very, very proud. All of your pictures are great! It feels SOOO good when someone asks you to take pictures for them. Especially when photography is such a passion! Well done Kelly!

if you are interested in photographing a LOT of people let me know... my mom wants our whole family to get pics taken togeher and i am sooo dreading doing the studio thing... it would have to be while i am in town though so totally understand if its too short of notice!
